We understand that consumers have diverse preferences and priorities. While all our products have always been organic certified, we recognize that customers also value the additional assurance provided by the Rainforest Alliance Certification. This certification serves as a testament to our commitment to sustainability, responsible sourcing and support for farmers and their communities.

The Rainforest Alliance is a renowned global nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable land management practices. By partnering with the Rainforest Alliance, we are able to expand our offerings to include cacao products that meet their rigorous environmental, social, and economic standards. Our Rainforest Alliance Certified products go through a meticulous process to ensure they meet these high standards. The certification guarantees that the cacao used in these products was sourced responsibly, protecting rainforests and contributing to fair compensation for farmers.

Rainforest Alliance certified products come with a slightly higher price that is assigned as follows: Sustainable Differential (SD) payments, in which the farmers receive a portion of this additional income. Another part goes to the  Sustainable Investment (SI) projects, which focus on continuous improvements on the producers' farms, long-term development and resilience of their operations. The Rainforest Alliance chooses SI projects around the world what considers have the most impact at a global level.

We want to emphasize that our commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing remains unwavering across all our products. Our standard organic certified cacao products, while not bearing the Rainforest Alliance Certification, are still sourced using sustainable practices and uphold our guarantee of quality and environmental consciousness. Whether you choose our Rainforest Alliance Certified cacao products or our standard organic certified cacao products, you can trust that each one upholds our commitment to responsible land management, biodiversity conservation, and the well-being of farmers and their communities.
