Known as the 'mother grain' of the Incas, this superfood is originated from the Andean region of South America. The health benefits of Quinoa Flour are straightforward marvelous and suitable for all ages. Quinoa contains all the essential amino acids our body needs, making this its most important nutritional content: the grand amount of protein. Quinoa is high in lysine, an amino acid that is low in other grains. It is also packed with B-group vitamins and minerals such as iron, magnesium and calcium.
Our ready to eat water-soluble Organic Quinoa Flour has a better digestibility and solubility than other quinoa flours in the market, it is easy to prepare and can be eaten uncooked. Native to Bolivia and Peru, Andean region, quinoa is the seed of the Chenopodium quinoa plant. Our Quinoa Flour is soluble and ready to eat, obtained from grinding, extruding, drying and sieving the raw quinoa grains. Cultivated using sustainable practices in the highlands of Peru.
When the leaves fall off the quinoa crop, the dried seed heads remain and are ready to be collected. Quinoa seeds are carefully stripped upwards off of the stalk with a gloved hand. Once removed, the seeds are cleaned and sun-dried to avoid mold.
